NEW REFERRALS

If you have been recently referred to our clinic, please know that once your referral has been received, we will do our best to contact you without delay. We have a dedicated staff member who makes calls Monday-Friday to book new patient appointments.

New referrals are recorded in our database at the end of each day. If we do not contact you within two weeks of having seen your referring practicioner (family physician/optometrist) we recommend that you contact us to see if we received your referral.

Delays occur most often when your contact information is out of date with your referring practioner.

After 3 failed attempts to contact new referrals to schedule an appointment, we inform your referring practicioner and destroy the referral. We do not keep a record of these referrals. You will need to request a new referral if this occurs. To avoid this issue, simply call back or email us if you have received a message from us.

You can find answers to frequently asked questions, here if you are new to our practice or if it is your first visit to an ophthalmologist.
